“Francis Plumbing and Heating is an outstanding customer focused company. We wanted a locally owned family company to install a new furnace and air conditioner. We learned that many local companies are not locally or Canadian owned. Right from our first call, Brianna the office assistant was courteous, efficient and professional. Next, we met Ray who came to our home to do an estimate. He answered all our questions and went out of his way to provide us with the answers to all our many questions. We had estimates from other companies. It became obvious from the start that Francis stood out with their attention to customer service.
The installers ( Josh, Kyle E. ) were extremely efficient and spent time cleaning their work area pristinely. Kyle Scott provided excellent follow up service.

“For years we have relied on Francis Plumbing for our plumbing needs, so we did not hesitate to switch to Francis for our heating and cooling needs from another reputable Ottawa company. Last week, Francis installed a new furnance and A/C for us. Ian and Kyle did the installation and we were so impressed by their professionalism and knowledge (and they are just nice guys).
We are very happy with the final product. Ian and Kyle used the space in our basement so much more effectively than the previous company which leaves us more room to move around. They replaced some of our duct work, and did a number of other improvements that should have been done by the previous company. On top of this, their work was very clean including laying out mats across our home for their feet.
I rarely write Google reviews, but I wanted to take the time to do so to share this great experience with Francis and say thank you to Ian and Kyle.

I was very satisfied of the knowledgeable and professional service that I received, from the sales associate who came to give me a quote and explain how to get the best air conditioner for the size of my house (actually needed a smaller unit than I ordered had), to the installation done by Ian and Kyle E, who did an amazing job at installing the new unit, removing tho old unit, and leaving the area spotless. I am very happy with my new unit, it’s very quiet and cools much better now upstairs than the old one! “My furnace stopped working on a cold winter night. Francis Plumbing and heating showed up in no time. The technician was friendly, professional and spent time explaining the system and options for replacing it some day. As it turns out, the tech eventually discovered my 50-year boiler furnace was leaking and no longer safe to operate. Francis provided me space heaters free of charge, then a quote, and suggested other companies that do a lot of boiler work so I could get other quotes. They responded to my questions about warranty and such. The installation started the next day. To my eye the installation was well done – piping work well laid out and clean soldering, exterior venting and electrical work excellent, etc. The new furnace, which also provides domestic hot water, works really well.”
